The vineyard of Cordelières covers an area of 33,000 square meters. This magnificent residence dates back to the 16th century and is composed of a main house, a wine pressing room, and a wine cellar that is still in function.
The Domaine Es Cordelières has been ranked « Premier Grand Cru Vaudois» since 2012.The first signs of wine production at the Domaine Es Cordelières date back to 1471. During this period, the wine domaine was composed of nine lots or "poses" (corresponding to 4.5 hectares), of which six poses belonged to the castle of Chatagnéréaz which is located just across the road.
The domaine has been owned by the Mundler-du Martheray family since 1960, and has been cultivated and exploited for the production of wine by the Gränicher family since 1967.
